- Maintaining a clinical schedule onsuch days, such hours, and at such locations as necessary toprovide timely and comprehensive medical services topatients.
- Assumes direct responsibility for thepatients under his/her medical attendance in the assignedunit.
- Perform examinations and tests, includingtesting for allergens, infections andcancers
- Treats disorders of the ears, includinghearing loss, balance disorders, ringing in the ears, andcongenital disorders of the inner and outerear.
- Referring patients requiring specializedmedical care to those specialists and other health care providersand facilities that are members of affiliated provider network,provided that such referral does not unreasonably interfere withthe patient's expressed preference for a differenthealthcare provider, his/her insurer's determination ofhealthcare provider or the patient's best medicalinterests in Physician's medicaljudgment.
- Participates in the variouscommittees for the upgrading of services and organization of workwithin and outside the hospital.
- Participationin system quality improvement and risk management programs andactivities, including but not limited to reporting all patientoccurrences, participating in continuing medical education and,when requested, serving on committees, reviewing medical recordsand providing other consultation to regarding legal and riskissues
- Performs all relevant interventionsrelated to his/her field ofspecialization.
- Participates in scheduling ofon-call duties and provides on-call services asrequired.
