    Cargo Global Pricing team as a Cargo Pricing Manager in our office in Doha.

    In this role, will be responsible to manage all functions related to Cargo Pricing within the QR network as well as implementing and monitoring the QR Cargo pricing policies and guidelines for the entire network. The role will also steer the regions and the global sales organization to sell the right flows on the various O&Ds (origins- destinations) and at the right price, in order to maximize the network contribution.

    As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead part of the implementation of the transformation initiatives by re-engineering and developing existing Pricing processes to assure the organisation is set to create and sustain the strategic Pricing initiatives.
  • Manage the implementation, calibration and continuous improvement of advanced pricing automation.
  • Create a global pricing strategy for multiple sales regions across all customers and products, ensuring network wide benefit is achieved, subsequently steer the regional pricing teams and sales organisation towards the target O&D, product and weight break mix.
  • Manage various internal and external stakeholders to define strategic pricing initiatives and priorities, set goals and conduct periodic performance review with the regional pricing teams and area management.
  • Lead a team of specialists, set targets and direction, manage their performance and contribute towards their professional development and growth within the organisation.
  • Closely monitor market behaviour and create opportunistic strategies to enable commercial benefit from these dynamics.
  • Create and align a global pricing framework and strategy, not limited to setting business rules and formulas, pricing of verticals and distribution strategy.
  • Qualifications

    About you

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of cargo or airline job-related experience in Pricing, Revenue Management or Financial Consulting
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train, foster teamwork, delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow
  • A structured, data driven analytical thinker, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong commercial acumen
  • Pragmatic in a data-driven way, able to quickly draw accurate conclusions from data
  • Ability to work extensively with cross- functional teams, in a faced- paced working environment
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills with strong persuasion and influencing capabilities
  • Preferably working knowledge of data processing and visualization tools such as Salesforce, PROS, Tableau and Excel, PowerPoint
