    Job Purpose

    To provide technical expertise in conducting impact assessments through applying impact methodologies, demographic studies, impact measures and research methods.

    Key Result Areas

    • Provide subject matter expertise on QF thematic areas informing the design of impact frameworks and assessments.
    • Improve the collection, disaggregation and dissemination of data across the organization.
    • Identify and administer methodologies to evaluate the impact of QF's efforts across all thematic areas; measure results and impact; analyze and summarize findings and lessons learned.
    • Conduct meta-analysis with a view to aggregating results of multiple evaluations looking at summarizing statistical indicators and identifying impact across a range of outcomes.
    • Build a comprehensive set of indicators that reflect strategic objectives and create shift toward impact.
    • Build assessments at project design stage working with Program Development Lead to ensure monitoring, assessments and learning are an iterative process.
    • Design impact assessments that usher a focus on results and both facilitate and maximize learning across the organization.
    • Provide technical information to colleagues within Impact and Advisory Unit that could be used to create reports, case studies and research series.
    • Analyze complex data, conduct critical analysis and consolidate findings with key recommendations that can be applied to current and future interventions/efforts relating to the realization of our strategic plan. Synthesize trends from evaluations conducted by SPD and entities and generate key findings.
    • Stay abreast of national studies and population research to help inform QF's strategic initiatives and research driven interventions; contribute to impact studies driven by the SPD department.
    • Identify and apply tested and innovative ways to effectively convey the value of our QF's strategic interventions against social and economic outputs.
    • Collect and analyze data systematically and establish linkages with accountability, learning and knowledge management to inform evidence-based programming decisions.
    • Liaise with monitoring and evlauation specialists to design rigorous evaluation frameworks and support statistical analysis.
    • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in economics, statistics, or relevant field & 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience
    • Expertise in results and impact measurement methodologies, methods, processes and systems
    • Extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning, results -based management, portfolio performance assessments.
    • Strong knowledge of research methods, databases, and statistical programmes.
    • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with seasoned ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and produce accessible recommendations, reports/studies for diverse audiences.
    • Ability to convey complex/difficult data topics and critical insights in a compelling and relatable manner.
    • Proficiency in applying and/or analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Strong coordination skills, with the ability to work across channels with multiple stakeholders and achieve results consistently.
    • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications
