Job Description Job Overview:
Toco-ordinate and supervise the activities of the foremen and hiscrew on the project. Must ensure compliance with HSE, Quality andEthics policy and attached roles and responsibilities.


Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Toset and apply standards of SAFETY, ETHICS and QUALITY to complywith procedures and take actions/s where Procedures and policy arenot met and rectify/report immediately.
• To be capable ofcommunicating fluently with Crew, Foremen, Superintendent and allothers with whom he liaises.
• Be capable of reading andunderstanding drawings, project painting specifications andprocedures and be capable of taking the correct remedial actions.(Wherever Applicable)
• To be conversant with the specificstandards applicable to the project / area of work.
• Tobe capable of looking four weeks ahead in planning of work for theproject utilize the project current plan for planning for futurework.
• Provide his Foremen with specifications andinformation require to do the work efficiently, productively andsafely.
• To ensure Proper tools and equipment'sare available and they are utilized efficiently, productively andsafely.
• Have an overall view and understanding of theproject completion including but not limited to constructionmethodology, fab sequence and milestone dates.
• Forecastresources required for the planned work ahead (Manpower,Equipment's etc.)
• To be able to conductmeeting with those reporting to him in an organized manner.
• To set targets of production for each of those directlyreporting to him, targets for Foremen.
• To be able tocommunicate supports services in the yard, rigging, scaffolding,warehouse, facility, QC.
• Provide written instructionwhere necessary to those directly reporting to him.
• Drive the team to achieve progress, productivity, safety andquality.
• Know and understand the estimated man-hours onthe work packs, maintain man-hours booking within estimate andprovide weekly progress to production engineers.
• Takeactions where standards and targets are not met.
• Wherenecessary refer quality / progress/ productivity issue to hissuperintendent and provide recommendation for improvement
• Address any issue of poor quality/ productivity and actwhere appropriate.
• Report area of poor performance andprovide recommendation for improvement.
• Provide accuratefeedback to Superintendent.
• Conduct TBT with crew,conduct safety walkthrough and address any issue of safety, checkHIT process.
• Review TRA with his foremen when requireand ensure it is discussed with his crew.
• Maintain goodhousekeeping on his work area. Promote BBSM process and beresponsible for his team's safety.
• Lead byexample and make sure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Training the new employees in blasting andspray-painting techniques.
• Ensure inspection equipmentis calibrated and keep track of the recalibration dates.
• To monitor the climatic conditions during and after the full paintand filler application.
• Resource planning for paintingas per project schedule and fabrication sequences.
• Preparation of Project surface preparation and coating procedures,Inspection test plans as per client Specification.
• Review, evaluation of paint manufacturer's technicaloffer for paint purchase as per project
• specificationrequirements and estimation of required paint qty as per scope.
• Technical involvement to select and commissioning ofAuto blast machine, Air compressors, spray units, Dehumidifier,Vacuum Recovery, Dust collector and UHP water jet blasting machine,TSA Units for painting facility.
• Performing Blaster andpainter qualifications as per project specification.
• Conducting blasting and paint system application qualificationprocess as per project specification requirements.
• Conducting training program for Foreman, blaster and painterregarding application
• Co-ordination with the QC for allinspection related activities.
• Conducting field testslike Salt level, Holiday and pull of adhesion test as perspecification requirement.
• Estimation of abrasive,Painting consumables for each project as per specification andproject painting scope.
• Participating in Projectspecific internal Audits and in various external Audits includingthe QMS Audit, Client Audit, ISO Audit and EnvironmentalAudits.
