As Manager Entertainment (Content Partnerships), IFE, you will be responsible for shaping and the developing the content supply pipeline for Qatar Airlines Inflight Entertainment Product. Working under the guidance of the Head of Entertainment, the role will source, negotiate and manage new content partnerships for Qatar Airways. You will initiate and build the content supply pipeline and will drive relationships with content service providers, streaming platforms, production companies, and technology vendors to enrich the entertainment product onboard.

Some of the tasks include the following:

• Develop, cultivate and maintain relationships with content providers, OTT's studios, distributors, and licensing agencies to secure high-quality and diverse entertainment options.
• Identify, negotiate and secure partnerships with Studio's, OTT Platforms, Content Distributors and Producers.
• Lead commercial discussion on licensing and distribution models across all Content Partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate content delivery systems seamlessly into the inflight entertainment platform. Leverage technology solutions to enhance the passenger experience and streamline content management processes.
• Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, copyright laws, and industry regulations governing the distribution of entertainment content. Stay informed about changes in regulations and proactively address any compliance issues.
• Continuously explore opportunities to enhance the inflight entertainment experience through innovative features, interactive content, and personalized recommendations.
• Develop and manage content inflight experience budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize the return on investment. Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising the quality or variety of entertainment offerings.
• Responsible for monitoring performance of entertainment content in real‑time, tracking viewer engagement metrics, popularity trends, and usage patterns to make informed decisions about content rotation, promotions, and marketing strategies.
• Build relationships with content vendors, service providers, and equipment suppliers to ensure timely delivery of content and technical support. Address any issues or concerns related to content licensing, delivery timelines, or service agreements.
• Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with minimum of 9+ years of entertainment, content partnership, curation and programming experience.
• Deep understanding of Streaming and OTT trends, including those which relate to Inflight Entertainment Content and the wider Media Industry eco‑system.
• Strong background in Content Acquisition, Partnership, Licensing and Distribution. (Streaming, Broadcast or IFE)
• Good knowledge of media integration systems and IFE hardware.
• Financial understanding of content licensing pricing structure and operational costs.
• Strategic mindset with ability to develop and execute long‑term content strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify opportunities and address challenges proactively.
• Familiarity with digital content delivery systems, inflight entertainment platforms, and related technologies.
• Understanding of the aviation industry, including trends and the competitive landscape related to inflight entertainment content.
