Please note that being located in Qatar is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to distill key points from complex technical descriptions for nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in at least one objectoriented programming language, preferably Python.
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and adherence to clean coding practices.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of databases, encompassing SQL and NoSQL paradigms.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Strong understanding of networking principles in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in AWS, with a focus on Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and related services.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles for streamlined development processes.

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Backend developer: 3 years (preferred)
