    TheCAD Drafter will use specifications to create detailed drawings forpallet racking systems and warehouse platforms in a manufacturingand material handlingsetting.

    Aminimum of 5 10 years material handling or pallet rack experienceisrequired.
    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • UseAutoCAD to draft racking layouts
    • Prepare submittaldrawings forengineering/permitting
    • Work with thesales team to provide conceptual drawings forbids
    • Utilize Solidworks and AutoCADfor fabrication detailing and assemblydrawings
    • Recreate model of rackingcomponents using Solidworks, AutoCAD, Revit and physicalsample
    • Create bill ofmaterials
    • Create installationdrawings
    • Make revisions to drawingsfrequently
    • Perform other duties asassigned.

    RequiredSkills/Abilities:

    • Excellentproblem-solving skills
    • Extensiveknowledge of CAD software
    • Revit andSolidworks experiencepreferred
    • Excellent verbal andwritten communicationskills
    • Autonomous worker with strongattention to detail
    • Ability tojuggle multiple projects
    • Move between projectswithout anyissues

    EducationandExperience:

    • 5-10years professional experience in using AutoCAD and Solidworks in apallet racking and/or material handlingsetting

    PhysicalRequirements:

    • Prolongedperiods sitting at a desk and working on acomputer.
    • Must be able to access andnavigate all areas of plant open-airwarehouse.
    • Must be able to lift to15 pounds at times.
    • Must be able toread a tape measure and have basic mathskills.
