• Examine assigned vessels' activities to ensure that vessel's management and crew are adhering with vessel-specific established risk management processes, in keeping with as low as reasonably practicable controls and industry specific risk control principles
• Guide management representatives who hold assigned responsibility for inspections of workplaces, approval of work method statements, issuing work permits, high-risk work process documentation, etc. so as to assure fit-for-purpose operational conditions are determined and in place and that work is adequately supervised
• In event of HSEQ related incident, direct initial scene response, provide situation reports to line manager, collate data requirements for analysis, conduct interviews of involved persons, track corrective and preventive actions to completion, and faciliate lessons learned are communicated. Where requested participate in incident investigations
• Deliver HSEQ training packages as required at assigned vessels
• Undertake verification of competency assurance for operational activities which have an element of HSEQ criticality
