Primary purpose of job
Responsible for the safe loading operation of crude oil, NGL condensate and naphtha at Offshore berth

  • Single Point
mooring and Multi Product Berth. Responsibility for all terminal metering and loading operations on a 24-hour cycle basis

and assumes responsibility of the oil transportation pipelines, oil metering stations, utilities, pumps etc. of the Terminal.

Supervision and control of all aspects of crude oil, naphtha and condensate tanker loading operations DCS (Distributed

Control System) Panel from multi-product berth and single point mooring and checks, finalizes the Bill of Lading quantity.


Experience & Skills
10-12 years experience in plants and process design in refinery or Oil processing plants including a minimum of 6 years in

a Senior Supervisory position/engineering/technical services capacity.

Responsible and accountable for keeping terminal and loading operations at optimum rates consistent with safety and

economy.

Responsible on the Bill of Lading figures for Crude oil & Naphtha shipments during shift.

The position is highly demanding as the job holder will assume responsibility for the safe loading operations. Job holder

independently decides to deal with any emergency during loading operation and shutdown of equipment of loading

disruption.

Periodic contacts with Port Operations. Pilots, Tank Farm Supervisors & Maintenance personnel. HS (M)Department,

Operations Engineering (Mesaieed Operations) to exchange information and obtain agreement to change/vary

conditions to meet operating and buyer requirements.

#In depth experience in the use of computer simulation packages such Provision, Hysys & Pro-ll, and other engineering

design packages together with spreadsheets such as Excel.


Education
Bachelor Degree in Chemical / Mechanical engineering or equivalent plus formal training in process simulation / computer

operations and member of chartered membership of professional institute is preferred. High degree of fluency in both

written and oral English.
