Job Description:
Business Analyst (Home Loans)

Onsite -Doha, Qatar

As the Business Analyst, you will be working within the Housing Finance team to deliver the best customer experience for our home loan clients, you will be the voice of the customer, with a deep understanding and empathy of current needs and pain points of our users. You will work closely with sales teams, credit analysts, panel solicitors, business stakeholders, service designers, clients & technology teams to refine the epics, features, and stories.
The role involves you designing and delivering solutions to support the endtoend experience for housing loan journeys across various offered products. You will have expertise in business requirements gathering, leveraging data to support decision making, facilitate workshops, process design, process mapping, and change management. You will be a passionate selfstarter, excellent collaborator and able to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Representing the customer in support of the development teams throughout the project
Looking after the creation of business cases for changes we want to develop which includes costs, timelines, story points and skills required.
Translating of business requirements into clear documentation, suitable for handover to our engineers for implementation Supporting diagnosis and rectification of customer issues
Driving best practice in how we work as a team from a Business Analyst standpoint, making changes to our approach so that we are continually enhancing our capabilities.
Supporting of the build, test, training, and deployment project processes and making sure that the business requirements are delivered and provide value to our customers.

Essential Skills:

Minimum of 5 years business analyst experience in the banking and financial services
Strong stakeholder management and communication experience
Analytical skills with the ability to define efficient solutions based on input from stakeholders.
Experience conducting workshops for requirements gathering including working with clients, business stakeholders and technical experts.
Expert in LEAN process design and process maps
Inquisitive, open minded and challenge the status quo where required.
Selfmotivation with a high level of accountability and the ability to drive successful outcomes.
Proven time management and planning abilities which allow you to identify task dependencies/ critical paths and determine appropriate milestones.
Experience with UX bestpractices, design thinking and empathy testing
Agile and human centered design methodologies
Experience in financial services including home loans is also highly desirable.
