- Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identifynew business leads
- Develop customer accounts and travelwithin the local area to drive business into the specifichotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenuestreams
- Negotiate room rates/packages with corporateclients
- Develop and implement creative local marketingchannels, including social media channels
- Preparecompany contracts for the hotel in accordance with current businessand pricing conditions
- Work within current businessstrategies and recognising potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create anexceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive salesprograms
- Attend Sales events, as required
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of theSales Director and senior management to include the reporting ofappointments, calls made and business leads
