Job summary
Perform preventive maintenance on rotary equipment including pumps compressors turbines blowers fans gearboxes dismantle inspect repair reassemble mechanical components conduct precision alignment balancing vibration checks diagnose mechanical failures read interpret technical drawings manuals OEM documentation perform installation commissioning new overhauled rotary equipment ensure proper lubrication practices monitor oil condition maintain accurate records work reports follow HSE policies permit-to-work systems lockout/tagout procedures coordinate with engineers supervisors operations teams during maintenance activities support shutdowns turnarounds emergency breakdowns.
