The Rigger is responsible for
the safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials
during offshore shutdowns, ensuring compliance with strict safety standards in
hazardous environments.<\/span>
<\/p>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Lifting & Rigging Operations:<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform load calculations and
select appropriate slings, shackles, and lifting gear for
cranes, winches, and hoists.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Rig and move pipes, valves, vessels,
and structural modules (up to 100+ tons).<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist crane operators with blind
lifts and complex load positioning.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Shutdown Support:<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with scaffolders, welders, and
mechanical teams to position equipment for maintenance.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist in load -outs for
supply vessels and platform module installations.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Hazard Awareness:<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify overhead hazards, swing
radius risks, and pinch points.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Follow PTW (Permit to Work) and LOTO
(Lockout -Tagout) procedures.<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Documentation:<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain rigging gear inspection logs and
report defects.<\/span>
<\/p>
<\/div><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Education: High school diploma + rigging
certification.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Certifications
(Mandatory):<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>OPITO Rigging & Lifting Level 2/3 or NORS Rigger Certification.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>BOSIET/HUET (Offshore Survival), H2S/BA,
T -BOSIET.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bankman/Slinger Signaler certification (preferred).<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience:<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>5+ years in offshore/oil & gas
rigging, with 3+ years in shutdown projects.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Familiarity with QP, Shell, or
TotalEnergies lifting protocols.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Skills:<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proficient in load charts, rigging
configurations, and crane signals.<\/span>
<\/p>

o    <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to work in confined spaces and
at heights.<\/span>
