    • Ensure and promote the applicationof HSE and Safety Engineering policies, process, standards andguidelines incl. international rulesets;
    • Liaiseas required with shareholders Technical Authorities, D+W / FOPS andMP entities to ensure Piping strategies and current best industrytechnical knowledge is applied andenforced;
    • Ensure that contractors comply at alltimes with the above, taking actions as required in case ofdeviation;
    • Promote safety culture withinpersonnel and contractors including reporting ofanomalies;
    • Develop and oversee the design ofnew piping installations or modifications in conjunction withE&C, D&W, FOPS and MPentities;
    • Define, specify and carry outnecessary technical studies in order to propose robust andoptimized technical solutions;
    • Preparerequisitions for piping material procurement and technical bidsevaluation;
    • Prepare scope of work, costestimates, budgets, and technical dossiers for all packages forpiping related activities;
    • Lead the technicalreview of the bidders' proposals and prepare technicalrecommendations accordingly;
    • Produce andsupervise as the case may be detailed engineering performed byContractors for installationengineering;
    • Evaluate and approve ProductionFacilities drawings and designs, installation schemes, layouts,HAZOP studies & materials take-off for all required NOCentities e.g. D&W / FO and MP thus providing consistencyand standardization for CAPEX/OPEXbenefit;
    • Ensure that Engineering Contractorssubmit all deliverables on time and check them regularly to achievequality expectations;
    • Lead development andupdate of piping standards;
    • Interact with ThirdParties such as Certifying bodies and the like to ensureindependent oversight is maintained;
    • Plan andconduct KOM with contractors, JRA/work permits meetings in liaisonwith FO entity;
    • Interview, select and recruitPiping Engineering Personal [both direct hire and ContractStaff].
