    The Modern Trade Sales Supervisor reporting to the Modern Trade Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the modern trade sales team, ensuring effective account management, achieving sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with modern trade partners. Your role involves coaching and motivating the sales team to optimize sales and market share, uphold the brand's image, and deliver exceptional value to modern trade customers.

    Team Leadership:


    • Supervise and lead the modern trade sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.


    • Ensure team compliance on daily field visit as per schedule.


    • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment to achieve sales and customer service goals.

    Modern Trade Account Management:


    • Develop and maintain relationships with modern trade partners, including key accounts and retailers.


    • Monitor the sales team performance by assigned outlet in regards to value, sales fundamentals and sales strategies by account.


    • Understand and address their unique needs, challenges, and requirements.

    Sales Strategy Implementation:


    • Assist in implementing sales strategies and objectives set by the Modern Trade Manager.


    • Asses the performance of the team according to their KPI's and have regular team meetings and action plans + execution to cover the gaps


    • Help to strategize and plan sales growth by customer to enhance sales performance


    • Monitor and ensure compliance with sales targets, KPIs, and account management plans.Sales Performance:


    • Monitor and analyze sales performance for modern trade accounts, including product performance, sales trends, and market dynamics.


    • Take proactive measures to achieve or exceed sales targets and maximize revenue. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:


    • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in modern trade channels.


    • Conduct frequent market visits fostering best basic execution in the market for QNIE brands.


    • Utilize market insights to adapt sales strategies and gain a competitive edge.

    Promotions and Marketing:


    • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute modern trade-specific promotional activities and marketing campaigns.


    • Communicate pricing changes and promotional details to the sales team and trade partners.

    Inventory Management:


    • Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure optimal product availability and inventory turnover in modern trade channels.


    • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.

    Reporting and Documentation:


    • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, account interactions, and market intelligence.


    • Prepare sales reports specific to modern trade, including account-specific analyses andrecommendations for review with the Modern Trade Manager.

    Training and Development:


    • Provide ongoing training and coaching to sales team members to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer relationship management.


    • Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs accordingly.

    Skills


    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or any related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).


    • Proven experience in modern trade sales, account management, or related roles within the FMCG industry.


    • A minimum of 4- 5 years of experience in the same capacity


    • Strong leadership and team management skills.


    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.


    • Proficiency in account management and sales reporting tools.


    • Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
