• Directing the commercial and resource management.
• Guiding thecommercial and financial management functions.
• Managing theperformance of all operations from a commercial and financeperspective.
• Monitoring financial performance, financial analysis(including trend analysis) and preparing project performancereports and recommendations for the executive team.
• Developingand supervising the implementation of and adherence to thecommercial management plan, subcontract management plant andproject risk management plan.
• Monitoring, reviewing and keepingrelevant parties informed on the timeliness, cost, revenue, risk,progress and performance of the project.
• Liaising with theconstruction team to ensure commercial processes and operations areas effective, efficient and transparent as possible.
• Overseeingthe procurement and commercial structure/framework for the project.
• Developing and monitoring the subcontractor and supply agreementprocess.
• Evaluating business improvement opportunities and makingrecommendations to reduce costs, increase productivity, improveeconomic valueadded and increase earnings before interest, taxesand amortisation.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies andprocedures in relation to legal, financial and administrationmatters the standard of internal control and policies.
• Settingdirection and providing clear and timely feedback to direct reportson their performance.
• Planning, developing and supervising allproject cost and commercial functions ensuring that all projectreporting, cash flow, budgets and forecasts comply with the clientrequirements.
• Managing the procurement and commercial managementof all pre and post contract stages of the project which will beawarded to local and international consultants and contractors. Supporting the process of resolving payment issues for vendors andthirdparty suppliers.
• Supporting the development of paymentreview, controls and signoff procedures for all financialmanagement activities within the business unit.
• Calling offestimating, planning, audit and cost planning activities asnecessary.
• Coordinating these additional resources as requiredacross the business unit.
• Directing and motivating amulticultural team and ensuring all commercial objectives aredelivered. About you You will have a degree qualification in civilengineering and be a member of a professional body. You haveexperience as a senior commercial manager. You are digitally savvy,can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivatedteams. You will have experience delivering projects from startthrough to completion within a consultancy industry and be poisedto expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of ourambitious people alike.
