Seeking enterprise-level experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry work experience
  • At least 68+ years of experience with WordPress development experience
  • Experience leading a team or mentoring engineers
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good English language skills are required.
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Expertlevel experience managing a website on the WordPress platform.
  • Experience with ecommerce, preferably WooCommerce for WordPress.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, React, Angular and jQuery.
  • Strong understanding of PHP backend development.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Excellent knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce Database structure (MySQL).
  • Knowledge of WP-CLI commands.
  • Knowledge of Git and other code versioning tools.
  • Experience working with debugging tools.
  • Strong experience with onpage SEO fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and the nontechnical reasoning behind a decision or position, and present a clear, rational argument in favor of a proposed solution
  • Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical solutions to nontechnical people
