    Job Description

    • Leading the SalesTeam / Meeting and Events Team and reporting to General Manager.
    • Achieves sales goals by leading / supervising sales team/ meeting & events team.
    • Implements strategiesto improve market penetration.
    • Maximizes salesproductivity by ensuring that sales staff utilizes "salessuccess" techniques.
    • Monitors callproductivity and revenue goals for each salesperson by trackingresults.
    • Improves call productivity by counselling salesstaff on appropriate selling techniques.
    • Increases salesvolume and profitability by formulating and executing projects forall market areas as stated in the business plan.
    • Analyses sales statistics to formulate profitability.
    • Reviews market analysis to determine client needs, occupancypotential, desired rates and meeting and events requirements.
    • Meets overall budgeted sales and profit margins bysoliciting, evaluating, selling, and confirming business.
    • Qualifies prospective leads as to profitability.
    • Designs and proposes programs to meet client'sneeds.
    • Performs Sales calls with Sales and Senior SalesManagers and with the meeting & events team.
    • Negotiates with clients to achieve maximum profit while satisfyingclient needs.
    • Coordinates transient and group roomcommitments to insure proper market mix.
