- Leading the SalesTeam / Meeting and Events Team and reporting to General Manager.
- Achieves sales goals by leading / supervising sales team/ meeting & events team.
- Implements strategiesto improve market penetration.
- Maximizes salesproductivity by ensuring that sales staff utilizes "salessuccess" techniques.
- Monitors callproductivity and revenue goals for each salesperson by trackingresults.
- Improves call productivity by counselling salesstaff on appropriate selling techniques.
- Increases salesvolume and profitability by formulating and executing projects forall market areas as stated in the business plan.
- Analyses sales statistics to formulate profitability.
- Reviews market analysis to determine client needs, occupancypotential, desired rates and meeting and events requirements.
- Meets overall budgeted sales and profit margins bysoliciting, evaluating, selling, and confirming business.
- Qualifies prospective leads as to profitability.
- Designs and proposes programs to meet client'sneeds.
- Performs Sales calls with Sales and Senior SalesManagers and with the meeting & events team.
- Negotiates with clients to achieve maximum profit while satisfyingclient needs.
- Coordinates transient and group roomcommitments to insure proper market mix.
