Job summary:


  • Oversee and manage Facility Management in Asia and Africa Region
  • Responsible for managing Assets across Asia and Africa Region based on Management Strategy
  • Oversee all portfolio of managed assets and manage contractors as per Management Strategy
  • Maximize the value of client portfolio of managed assets

Business capabilities:


  • 8+ years of real estate experience in terms of asset/facility management with large mixeduse developers
  • Excellent analytical capabilities; understand endtoend due diligence and feasibility study process
  • Experience in taking over new development projects across segments (i.e. Mixed use developments, residential, retail, hospitality, leisure, offices, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Asset/Facilities Management, feasibility studies, master development design and marketing

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or economics
  • Masters or MBA preferred

Asset Management:


  • Develop overall portfolio Asset Management strategy and individual asset plan (strategic and financial analysis, potential acquisition targets, disposals, restructuring )
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor and review property expenses versus budgets. Run reports and reconcile income and expenditure statements. Research and resolve variances and escalate to the management.
  • Work with Development directors to set out the policies and Procedures for different assets.
  • Monitor and manage external property manager regarding the maintenance of client owned properties
  • Oversight of external property manager to obtain property reports (Pest, property inspection, other specific property condition reports, appraisals, photos, floor plans). Prepare a Scope of Work for contractor remodel items, review bids, oversee project management, and sign off on work completed. Prepare request to fund property capital projects for internal accounting/budgeting approval.
  • Regular property visits to meet with property management personnel, business associates. Tour property to assess furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and other capital improvements. Provide direction and monitoring of property maintenance and capital projects ensuring compliance with current FSH standards.
  • Review and recommend the way forward based on financial model and feasibility studies.
  • Provide inputs to clients development plan for new/future developments, (e.g. on overall financial objectives and desired sale/lease mix)
  • Collaborate with S&M for to develop sales & marketing strategy of "build town" assets
  • Assist with risk management functions, such as tracking compliance with property taxes and insurance requirements.
  • Oversee and manage Facility Management of clients Property where local asset team is not available.
  • Review new market trends for Asset and Facility management services.

Salary:
QAR35, QAR37,000.00 per month
