- Operate, monitor, and maintain mass notification systems, including Giant Voice, indoor warning systems, sirens, public address systems, and digital alerting platforms (e.g., text, email, desktop alerts)
- Conduct scheduled system tests, inspections, and preventative maintenance in accordance with base, DoD, and Air Force standards
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, network, and power issues affecting notification systems
- Coordinate with Emergency Management, Security Forces, Command Post, and Communications units during real‑world events and exercises
- Support emergency response operations by rapidly initiating alerts and announcements as directed
- Maintain system documentation, logs, maintenance records, and configuration data
- Assist with system upgrades, expansions, and integration with other communications or life‑safety systems
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and operational policies
- Provide technical support and training to authorized users as required
- Participate in drills, exercises, and after‑action reviews to improve system effectiveness
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or associate degree preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in communications systems, IT, electronics, alarms, or public address systems
- Working knowledge of mass notification, emergency alerting, or life‑safety systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a high‑tempo, mission‑critical environment
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL‑UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
