  • 00 Qatar Contract Oil & Gas The Safety Culture Specialist serves in a dual role; where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity, by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to construction contractors and employees at all levels in the project organization.
  • Safety Culture Specialist is expected to be a "hands on" partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop a safety culture supporting the goal of ZERO incidents in the course of all work performed at the project site.
  • Enhance the safety culture of the Construction Site by empowering the workforce and providing leaders with tools and information
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of "lifeonsite" and provide feedback to contractor to drive a positive work environment
  • Primary liaison with JMJ to implement the IIF program onsite for the assigned scope
  • Exercise and promote Stop Work Responsibility, when necessary, and actively partner with contractor to correct situation as required to get work restarted safely
  • Development of training modules for the occupation safety standards and procedures for contractors.
  • Development of occupational safety training programs for contractors to ensure they are delivered in an optimum manner
  • Experience in Petrochemicals Industry in Safety field with Construction/Turnarounds. High level of experience in field project construction safety leadership, including, heavy equipment operation, working at heights, and hand tool safety
  • Previous successes related to sustainable site safety culture. eCPW qualified (RLIC permitting system). Psychology degree with safety/occupational health background will be considered.
