Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in the shipping industry

  • Identify and target potential clients to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management for performance evaluation
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote company services
  • Manage client accounts and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the organization
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the shipping industry

Certifications in Sales or Shipping Management are a plus

Preferably with strong ties to the shipping industry

Fluency in English and other languages in the country is an advantage

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Physically able to travel and attend industry events
