    he Assistant Executive Director, PatientSafety in conjunction with Executive Director Quality and Safety isresponsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating PatientSafety programs across all HMC entities.

    The purpose of this roleis to devise and implement systems and methodologies for trackingand monitoring procurement performance. Measure and optimize theeffectiveness of purchasing channels and supplier managementstrategies. Proactively, identify risks relating to procurementstrategy and implement mitigation plan. Ensure decisions in supplychain processes like procuring and inventory management areintegrated with business utility and requirements. Engage keystakeholders in collaborative decision-making for product andtechnology evaluation for both system improvements and whenprocuring.


    Education / Qualification Required:

    • Qualifications from the UK is a MUST

    Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field Experience:

    • Work experience from the UK is a MUST
    • MinimumTen(10) years of relevant experience in Value Analysis withinSupply Chain
    • Minimum Four (4) years in the healthcareorganization

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Developand manage relationships with physicians, key stakeholders, andexecutives to optimize HMC's value analysis initiatives(purchased products).
    • Identify opportunities forstandardization and utilization of products.
    • OverseesValue Analysis governance standardization efforts across HMC andwork closely with the supply chain management team on potentialopportunities for strategic sourcing and optimizing contracts.
    • Set initiative specific performance and value analysistargets as part of the Value Analysis Governance.
    • Monitor value analysis savings and outcome targets, and report aspart of the Value Analysis Governance.
    • Responsible forimplementing Value Analysis Governance structure and evidence-basedvalue analysis processes within HMC for the purchased products.
    • Leads the product introduction, investigation, analysis,education, conversion/consumption, and track value analysisinitiatives outcomes.
    • Ensure that the value analysis andstandardization efforts for the assigned initiatives do not havenegative implications on quality, patient, and staff safety.
    • Recommend and set-up collaborative and results-driveninitiatives for cost saving, clinical quality, and outcomesimprovement.
    • Maintains a current understanding oftechnology, regulatory, and operational trends in the healthcaresupply chain, and value analysis strategies that may affect productutilization.
    • Supports internal customers (and othersupply chain functions) on resolving product related issues, suchas product utilization, inventory control practices, contractmanagement, and vendor support for a product.
    • Recommendsolutions for potential Value Analysis constrains.
    • Perform other duties as assigned
