Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • Specialisation in Special Education and EAL, or a related field.
  • Teaching Qualification
  • PGCE/BEd or equivalent preferred
  • Experience teaching in an international school preferred (IB, AP, and/or MYP)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse student needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of various learning disabilities, developmental disorders and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:


  • Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to engage students with diverse learning styles.
  • Provide emotional support and behavior management strategies to help students succeed socially and emotionally.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages selfconfidence and selfesteem.
  • Ensure that students with special needs receive appropriate educational opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver targeted instructional interventions to support students' academic
  • Set Specific goals and objectives that align with the students' abilities and the curriculum.
