The Facility Control Office Technician I manages,monitors and maintains situational awareness of all ASI andequipment placed in HAZCON status under the responsibility of the(RNOSC-A).

The position will report directly to the Watch Officer.
The position may take direction from many military componentsincluding the section officer in charge.

ResponsibilitiesProvides direct support to the ARC of Current Operations Divisionand information on all ASIs and equipment placed in HAZCON statusunder the responsibility of the regional NOC.

Provides technicaland operational support to functional users for managing,monitoring and maintaining situational awareness of all ASIs andequipment placed in HAZCON status under the responsibility of theregional NOC.

Provides assistance in preparing and presentingHAZCON/outage reports for the Current Operations Division, monitorHAZCON outages, and compiles and assists in completing outage trendanalysis reports for the Current Operations Division.

Assists inproviding operational status reporting to the regional NOC relatingto network operations. Participates in inter

• NOC informationdissemination, provides initial response to events detected, andassigns trouble tickets to the appropriate regional NOC orUSARCC SWA division or team for further analysis and resolution.

The environment exposes you to moderate noise levels due to coolingand other equipment. The work environment will be 95% indoor and 5%outdoor. Perform additional duties as assigned.


QualificationsQualifications:

Education / Certifications:
One-year relatedexperience may be substituted for one year of education if degreeis required. High School Diploma required. Bachelor'sDegree in IT or related field preferred.


Experience:
At least 5years of practical experience working in the IT field and/orcommunications. Must be familiar with DISA operations circulars,DOD circuit actions and TSO/TSR processing requirements.
