About the role:


Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Senior Analyst Fuel Efficiency.


As a Senior Analyst Fuel Efficiency, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting implementation of fuel efficiency projects as well as administration and end user support of specialized Fuel Systems to meet business user requirements.

You will also be responsible to collecting, categorizing and analyzing fuel related feedback in order to improve the current fuel planning process.

You will collate and present fuel data, communications, and Pilot feedback into usable data that drives improvement initiatives, making recommendations through trend analysis and system data interrogation methods.


Specific responsibilities for the role include:

  • Identify fuel saving opportunities through analysis of data and interaction with business operations and formulate innovative concepts to support fuel saving recommendations.
  • Analyze charts/ dashboards in the fuel monitoring system in order to provide required data to aid stakeholders' process improvements and/or decision making that support commercial / social benefits.
  • Contribute and lead analysis research requests in liaison with the Fuel Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure continuous improvement in the fuel saving projects.
  • Support the Fuel Conservation & Efficiency Manager by regularly monitoring the actual achieved savings vs. targets to ensure meeting the yearly fuel saving target.
  • Administrate the fuel management system by establishing processes that guarantees quality data to ensure correct reporting and decision making.

Qualifications


About you

  • Relevant College or University qualification to minimum Bachelor's level with minimum 5 years of jobrelated experience.
  • In depth knowledge of airline operation and fuel processes.
  • Solid experience in data analysis and business Intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of Airline Operation Manual.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.
  • Report writing, technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong planning and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written English).
