This is a full-time on-site Facial Specialist role located in Doha, Qatar. The Facial Specialist will be responsible for providing facial treatments and analyzing clients' skin to suggest the most appropriate treatment plans. The Facial Specialist will also sell and advise clients on skincare products and develop relationships with existing clients while prospecting new ones.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional quality facials, within scope of practice and licensing, based on client's needs.
• Interviewing clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments.
• Providing waxing, facials, body treatments, and makeup applications.
• Advising clients on skincare and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens.
• Assists in the cleanliness of the location (treatment rooms and common areas).
• Creates excellent client experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
• Communicates various promotions to the client.
• Follows all company policies and protocols.
• Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
• Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
• Caring for linens and replacing them between sessions.
• Ceasing treatment and informing supervisor in the event of inappropriate client behavior.
• Adhering to policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.
• Participation in continuing training to improve effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification or a diploma in Beauty Therapy or any other related field is required.
• Relevant experience in skincare is necessary, with a minimum of two years of experience as a facial technician.
• Excellent customer service skills, including personal grooming, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Must have a relaxing and calm attitude, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and work flexible hours. Weekend availability is required.
• Must have good knowledge of facial treatments, skin assessment, and skincare products.
• Must have good interpersonal, sales, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, but knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
