  • 00 Qatar Contract Petrochemical All projects are driven by a plan, and that plan is the basis upon which a project is executed. The Lead Scheduler must assure the work plan is appropriately depicted in a sequence of time demonstrating the critical path to completion. This schedule becomes the core instrument by which work is performed and progress is measured.
  • Lead Scheduler to join (RLP Project) to support the design, procurement, and construction of a 1000 kMTA ASL Polyethylene unit and a 680 kMTA ADL Polyethylene unit, Bagging and Port infrastructure.
  • Conducts or participates in all interactive planning sessions as required to create EPC schedule deliverables.
  • Performs whatif analysis, workaround identification, float analysis, critical path identification, and recommends any corrective actions needed to mitigate unfavorable deviations of the schedule.
  • Reviews and approves the Contractor submitted baseline schedule and Earned Value Management System to be considered as the project baseline or benchmark
  • Identifies Interface Points between the Contractor schedule to ensure coordination and optimization of the Project Plan
  • Monitor contractor compliance with Best Practices of Project Planning and Scheduling, and specific contractual requirements regarding contractor EPC schedule development
  • EPC Schedule Monitoring
  • Integrated Master Schedule Preparation & Monitoring.
  • Owner's items Schedule Preparation & Monitoring.
  • Prepare charts & tables for Schedule updates.
  • Assists in development of schedule identification, storage, retrieval, and report format standardization; (assures that schedule titles, file locations, layouts, reporting periods, etc. are clearly defined by the contractors and PMT scheduling staff
  • Assists in implementation of Risk Mitigation and quantification of schedule contingency, and estimation of schedule impacts of various changes and variances
  • Provides guidance, oversight, and supervision to planning and scheduling staff assigned to specific work scope task forces managing engineering and construction activities.
  • Coordinate implementation of Risk Mitigation Actions (Schedule).
  • Utilizing Best Practices, manages development of overall project schedule, phased, with proper sequencing, logic, and relational based activities, that can fully utilize specialty scheduling software to identify risk and identify any mitigation options
  • Assures entire project team has taken ownership of schedule, and that it represents a product and tool that is logical, usable, and understandable by all key personnel on the project
