• Provide faculty members withexpert consultation to support the development, delivery andcontinuous improvement of learningexperiences.
• Facilitate ongoing facultyinnovation and experimentation in regards to effectiveteaching.
• Organize peer observations toidentify areas for improvement.
• Prepare writtensummaries of peer observations and conduct one-on-one"debriefing" consultations withfaculty.
• Assess the impact of teachinginnovation and experimentation on student learning and teachingeffectiveness.
• Facilitate the creation of"LearningCommunities."
• Support an emphasis onthe "Scholarship of Teaching and Learning"(SoTL) by assisting faculty members in learning about, extractingvalue from, and contributing to the field of (SoTL) inacademia.
• Work collaboratively with other CETLstaff to implement blended e-learning environments andinstructional modules using appropriate pedagogicalstrategies.
