- Supports and directs clinicalservice, research and educational activities of theDivision.
- Develops and validates test andorderable menu for hematopathology and transfusion, working withcolleagues in hematopathology, immunopathology, medicalmicrobiology, medical biochemistry, and other clinical andlaboratory specialties.
- Provides direction andassists in the validation and testing of the laboratory informationsystem as it relates to hematopathology.
- Leadsand assists in quality assurance of the Division and theDepartment.
- Assists in the hiring of colleaguesand technologists.
