We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) Instructor with expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to join our team.
As a CIA Instructor specialized in RCA, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to our internal audit professionals and external clients.
Your role will involve teaching RCA methodologies, techniques, and best practices to enhance the investigative skills of our team members and improve our clients' audit processes.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver high-quality training programs on Root Cause Analysis to internal audit professionals and external clients.
Develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, case studies, and practical exercises, to facilitate effective learning experiences.
Customize training programs to meet the specific needs and skill levels of participants, tailoring content for different industries and organizational contexts.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in RCA methodologies, ensuring that the training materials and content remain current and relevant.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and evaluation results.
Participate in the development and enhancement of internal audit processes, frameworks, and methodologies, with a focus on integrating RCA principles effectively.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is required.
Extensive experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis within an internal audit function or consulting environment.
Proven experience as a trainer or instructor, with a strong ability to deliver engaging and effective training programs.
Deep knowledge of various RCA methodologies, such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, Cause-and-Effect Analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis.
Strong understanding of internal audit principles, risk management, and control frameworks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and facilitate RCA discussions.
Experience working with diverse groups of participants and adapting training content to different skill levels and industries.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for RCA, such as Visio, Excel, or specialized RCA software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
