    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Support the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew

    Training Devices:
    Attend maintenance calls, device setup,conversions and demos, assist during SFTs / PVCs, perform snagclearance, etc...

    • Independently perform thePreventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) and Daily Readiness (DR) on thetraining devices and associated systems. Ensure that PMTs arecarried out according to the standards, and signed off. Ensure thatPMT raised deficiencies are followed up, actioned, and closed in atimely manner.
    • Ensure that all recurrent QTG runs aredone, and ensure that deficiencies associated to recurrent runs areactioned in a timely manner, and followed up on until closure.
    Troubleshoot related issues and work with the QTG specialist forresolution as required. Consult with senior colleagues for help /clarification.

    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolvetraining device issues. Promptly update the associated DRs. Workwith senior colleagues on AOGs. Communicate and share informationwith colleagues and other departments (logistics, scheduling,training department, etc...) to improve training deliveryand customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor Simissues and action/ update issues that are assigned to the on-site team for action.
    Perform all requested tests, and provide clear and concisefeedback. Consult and coordinate with senior colleagues to ensurethat all Snags and SPRs are actioned promptly, to meet SLA targets.

    • Make use of the Maintenance Management System to record,track, and review maintenance activities.
    • Comply withlocal & global CAE Environmental Health & Safetystandards, instructions, and safe working procedures. Exercise dutyof care for own H&S, and that of others who may be affectedby his/her work. About you
    • You will hold a TechnicalCollege Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or AviationField and at least 3-years of related work experience.
    • Excellent knowledge of the English Language, both spoken andwritten.
    • Highly engaged and motivated individual.
    • Customer oriented, must be able to deal tactfully insensitive situations.
    • Good workmanship and strongcontributor within a team environment.
    • Demonstrateinitiative and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
    • Able to work flexible shifts, and adapt to changing workschedules and shift patterns.
    • Suitable understanding ofaircraft terminology and simulation training devices.
    • Able to interpret schematics and other technical documentspertaining to simulation training devices.
    • Knowledge ofAnalog and Digital principles and theory.
    • Must possessadequate troubleshooting skills of Electronic, Electric, Hydraulic,and Pneumatic systems.
    • Ability to work flexible shifts(night) and to adapt to changing work schedules.
    • Must beskilled in the use of test equipment, and software diagnosticstools.
    • Basic understanding and comprehension ofAvionics, Motion, and Visual Systems.
    • Good computerskills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel,etc...)
    • Basic knowledge of computermainframe/architecture, networking, and operating systems (WindowsNT/XP, UNIX, Linux, AIX). Position Type Regular CAE thanks allapplicants for their interest.
