- Ability to examine and treatspecific conditions across range of orthopedic situations at aproficient level
- Provide moderate input intodevelopment of assessment and treatmentprotocols.
- Contribute to evidence-basedpractice in the department at a proficient level (ex. Participatein protocol reviews).
- Participate inphysiotherapy and team in-service training to promote personaldevelopment.
- Agree on a discharge planning ofpatients, with advice from the SeniorPhysiotherapist.
- Assist Senior Physiotherapistwith staff continuing education.
- Providein-service briefing following attendance at a course orconference.
- Maintain a proficient standard ofethical and professional behavior when treating and dealing withpatients.
- Participate in the departmentalpersonal development and performance review system to promotepersonal and service developments.
- Liaise withSenior Physiotherapists to gain support and direction in managementof their caseload.
- Work as part of a team toensure effective communication and delivery ofcare.
- Participate in clinical audit to supportthe physiotherapy service clinical governancestrategy.
- Communicate and recommend to relevantdisciplines of staff to maximize patient care and promotemultidisciplinary team working.
- Maintainpatient documentation, records and accurate statistical informationto reflect care provided and meet professionalstandards.
- Independent charting using Cerner.
