- Actingas the key interface between the Typhoon squadrons and the QEAFcustomer.
- Ensuringthat continued airworthiness and maintenance activities on Typhoonaircraft have been carried out iaw BAE Systems approved data andthe CAMSS Maintenance OrganizationExposition.
- Briefingthe QEAF Operations Officer or deputy to discuss current aircraftserviceability states andconfigurations.
- Providingengineering solutions/explanations to multiple stakeholdertechnicalquestions.
- Towork for the Flight Operations Manager and Maintenance Managers insupport to the Senior Typhoon Instructor Pilot and respectiveCustomer interfaces to develop solutions and plans allowing them tofocus on their operationalactivities.
- Respondto requests from internal and external customers for advice andproactively inform senior management decisionmaking to ensure dueconsideration is given to the business implications of optionspresented.
- Keepup to date in areas of expertise in order that the Customer andbusiness is aware of and able to take account or advantage of newdevelopments.
- Developand maintain links within the interfacing communities througheffective stakeholderengagement.
- Ensurecompliance with statutory regulatory and corporate requirements andexternal standards within areas of specialism and keep abreast ofchanges which may impact thebusiness.
- Firstline support to theusers.
- HigherNational Diploma / Certificate (or equivalent) in a relevantapplicable subject isdesirable.
- Practicalexperience in an Operational environment isessential.
- EngineeringOperations experience militarypreferred.
- Fastjet experience with exposure to electronic Engineering SupportSystems for Typhoon or a comparable system from anotherplatform.
- Inservicesupport knowledge specifically around Continuing Airworthinesswithin a maintenanceorganization.
- TheEng Ops Ctrl will be suitable to be cleared for access to sensitive(secret)information.
