At Glinks, we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated & compassionate
Student Counsellor looking to join our counselling department in Doha, Qatar
. The responsibilities of the student counsellor include supporting the emotional and professional growth of students, developing and monitoring counselling support programs, and providing educational and vocational guidance.

• Counsel students regarding abroad education opportunities such as regarding Country, Course, Universities, and programme selection, and career planning with accurate information.
• Provide students with materials related to a career of their choice or career counselling to suit their skills.
• Understand the requirements of each lead enquiry through a thorough factfinding mechanism.
• Generate leads for potential students & build a pipeline of future business.
• Call potential customers on regular basis to generate business
• Conduct & attend events (Online as well as in person) to interact with potential customers.
• Ensure parent/student leaves with a positive word of mouth which can bring more clients and increase referrals
• Stay updated about the various study abroad programs offered by College/universities and use the knowledge in helping students
• Assisting with activities to promote Universities represented by the Company
• Analyse the mindset of the students who are interested in abroad education and Motivate and encourage clients to take up the course.
• Responsible for timely reporting to the Manager

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in counselling.
• Master's degree in counselling may be advantageous.
• Minimum of 13 years professional counselling experience, preferably in an educational field.
• Knowledge of placement testing and career, personal, and educational assessment.
• Excellent active listening and communication skills.
• Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality.
• Social perceptiveness and an understanding of body language.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and mediation skills.
