1: Lead and supervise electrical in‐house and outsourced contractor teams in maintenance related activities and ensure that the assigned works are carried out in accordance with accepted standard and industrial norms.
2: Assure optimization of the electrical maintenance organization structure.3: Carryout quality inspections on all assigned jobs
4: Monitor electrical maintenance jobs during shutdowns/break downs to ensure quality and accuracy; check the calibration of protective relays and other regular tests performed on electrical equipment during shutdown.
6: Plan and prepare periodical preventative maintenance schedule at the beginning of each year and carryout duties mentioned therein in coordination with the Electrical Supervisor.
8: Review and advice on electrical engineering requirements and drawings in order to improve service delivery.
9: Assist in preparation of Annual Budgets when requested; monitor and control maintenance costs.
10: Coordinate electrical works being carried out with or without technicians / helpers / outsourced contractor and report back to the Facilities supervisor on a daily basis.
12: Foster good working relationships with all other Como FMS discipline supervisors within the assigned facilities.
Foster effective communication by keeping Management and relevant parties aware through regularly information updates submitted to the Facilities supervisor; seek advice and assistance when required.
13: Formulate planned and unplanned preventive maintenance schedules, strategies, procedures, methods and checklists, periodically review the programs to evaluate its efficiency and suitably making changes to the schedule and procedures, if necessary, based on feedback and field experience.
14: Prepare technical analysis reports to be submitted to the client through the Facilities Supervisor on major repetitive equipment failures and recommended suitable actions to minimize or eliminate recurrence of the problems.
15: Oversee the trouble‐shooting of complex electrical problems and failures by working closely with the electrical in‐house and outsourced contractor teams whenever required.
17: Carryout stage and final inspection of repair jobs done by outsourced contractors either on site or in their facilities outside, evaluate their procedures and competency and witnesses the necessary tests before acceptance
18: Keep abreast with contemporary technology and maintenance practices and suggests upgrading / modifications with the aim of improve reliability and maintainability; in order to reduce maintenance costs, enhance quality and safety
19: Installation of new machines and equipment, Where a detailed specification is not provided he / she shall determine the cause of the fault and then undertake the most cost effective solution to remedy the defect.
20: Has UPDA, QCDD, CFPS certification.
