We are reputed Engineering Consultants based in Doha, currently looking for Design Coordinator Engineer:


Roles and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to develop comprehensive project design plans and specifications.

Review design drawings, calculations, reports and other documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.

Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in designs between different disciplines and engineering teams.

Develop design schedules, plans and timelines to meet project milestones and monitor progress.

Conduct design reviews at various stages and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Collaborate with contracts team to ensure design documents align with project scope, terms and conditions.

Respond to technical and contractual requests and clarifications from site project managers.

Serve as main point of contact to coordinate information flow between site team and office team.

Provide site team with reliable, coordinated and prompt responses to requests.

Maintain updated project documentation, records, and design drawing logs.

Identify areas for design process improvements and implement solutions.

Stay updated on latest design standards, codes, and engineering best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.
