Job Description:

Purpose and Scope

The Talent & Culture and Learning Intern will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development and talent acquisition activities and projects as directed by the learning and development/talent acquisition team as well as ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes


These will include:
assisting with corporate induction, training administration, performance development scheme arrangement and supporting the provision of management information.


The role holder will be the first point of contact for learning and development queries and be responsible for all related administration, ensuring a get it right first time ethos is adopted.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with employee filing and documentation
  • Prepare and assist with postings and announcements
  • Support employee experience by ensuring new hires have been supplied with the correct equipment and information during onboarding process
  • Assign new joiners with INES profiles, training assignment
  • Scheduling training sessions for employees, ensuring that adequate preparation time is provided for each session
  • Assisting employees with online platform as

INES:
changing passwords, assisting with training completion, certificates saving, etc

  • Recording information about training sessions in a database or spreadsheet for tracking purposes
  • Execute roll out of training interventions including timelines, target audience and location
  • Communicating regularly with managers to ensure that training is progressing as scheduled on INES
  • Assisting with preparation of reports about online training programs and their outcomes
  • Scheduling Training Schedules (e.g., online Mandatory Training)
  • Any task which is assigned by the reporting manager and the management of the company

Required Skills:


Communication:
Communication is the act of conveying information through speech, writing or other methods. As an learning and development coordinator, you may be responsible for communicating with employees, managers and executives. This requires you to be able to convey information clearly and concisely. You may also be responsible for communicating with vendors, suppliers and other external parties.

Time management:
Time management is the ability to plan and execute tasks in a timely manner.

This is an important skill for learning and development coordinators, as they often have many responsibilities and deadlines to meet.


Organization:
Organization is another skill that can be useful for learning and development coordinators. This is because they often have many tasks to complete in a short period of time. Having good organizational skills can help them prioritize their work and complete it efficiently.

Teamwork:
Working well with others is an important skill for an and development coordinator. They often work with a team of people to develop learning programs and initiatives for an organization. This role requires collaboration and the ability to work with others to achieve common goals.

Problem-solving: Problem-solving skills are essential for learning and development coordinators. They are responsible for creating and implementing training programs that meet the needs of their organization and its employees. They must be able to identify any issues that arise during training and develop solutions to overcome them.
