Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing:

• Conduct market research and identify qualified suppliers for required goods and services.

• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best value and terms.

• Manage and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.

• Stay informed about market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.

• Operational Procurement:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment.

• Monitor and track order status and address any discrepancies or delays promptly.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for procurement.

• Cost Management:

• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.

• Negotiate favorable pricing and payment terms with suppliers.

• Additional Responsibilities:

• May oversee the performance of purchasing assistants or staff.

• Contribute to developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.

• Stay informed about industry best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role.

• Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in using relevant procurement software and analytical tools.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to ethical sourcing and supplier relationship management.

• Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred nationality: Indian Male & Female age 32+ above.
Salary : 6,500 QAR (INR 1,48,000)
