Collaborate with engineers, architects etc.
To determine the specifications of the project.
Negotiatecontracts with external vendors to reach profitableagreements.
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriateauthorities.
Determine needed resources (manpower,equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention tobudgetary limitations.
Plan all construction operationsand schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will bemet.
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks totimely handle inadequacies.
Hire contractors and otherstaff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise the workof laborers, mechanics etc. And give them guidance whenneeded.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailedreports.
Ensure adherence to all health and safetystandards and report issues.
