    Responsiblity:

    • Receivingorders from customers via mail, phone, or other electronicmeans.
    • Obtaining customers' detailsand billing information, and entering the information correctly onthe order form.
    • Notifying departments whensupplies of items are low, or when orders could deplete availablesupplies.
    • Informing customers about prices,shipping dates, and anticipateddelays.
    • Preparing invoices, shipping documents,and contracts.
    • Forwarding information to thecorrect departments for delivery of theorder.
    • Inspecting outgoing orders to ensurecompliance with customerspecifications.
    • Reviewing orders forcompleteness and forwarding incomplete orders for furtherprocessing.
    • Liaising with production, sales,shipping, warehouse, or delivery personnel to trace or accelerateshipments.
    • Recommending merchandise or servicesthat will meet or improve upon customers'needs.
