We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sales Officer for one of the most dynamic and exciting leisure venues in Doha.

West Bay beach, under the management of Discover Qatar, comprises 3 absolute beachfront fully licensed venues:


  • Doha Sands, an exclusive and private beach club for in house guests staying at participating West Bay hotels.
  • The Bistro; a fully licensed restaurant, open from 7am until midnight with a capacity of 200, serving light casual meals and also catering for special events, movie and sports event screenings and private groups.
  • B12 Beach Club, Qatar's largest private beach club featuring the largest inflatable in the country, a range of international food and beverage outlets, general admission and VIP sections, a resident DJ and popular weekend brunches.
As a Senior Sales Officer, you are required to Execute and build the business of the in the assigned market ensuring high levels of service and increasing the Discover Qatar market share in accordance with medium
- and long-term strategy.


Other key responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for all B2B and event sales for B12, the Bistro at B12 and Doha Sands
  • Responsible for the hotel sales strategy of Doha Sands to Doha based hotels
  • Follow the Sales strategy for sales in Doha (i.e. post arrival) and distribution points to achieve sales target.
  • Survey shifting market trends and propose recommendations and implement strategies to attain revenue targets. Suggest any Sales Process improvement to the Line Manager.
  • Actively look for local opportunities and take prompt actions, in line with manager's decisions, to respond to those local proposals.
  • Execute and assist in development of all promotional collateral and advertising material ensuring maximum market exposure.
  • Conduct market analysis and gather product intelligence and competitor information in the Doha market to ensure the competitive edge in terms of service levels and product innovation.
  • Run the analysis, selection and appointment of new hotels in Qatar Report their performance and ensure that the targets are achieved.
  • Prepare high quality sales presentations for Qatar based hotel staff International Sales Managers/clients to increase product awareness as well as increasing Discover Qatar's operated beaches reputation as a quality service provider and to secure more market share.
  • Interact, network and manage contacts with the clients to enhance Discover Qatar image and facilitate the flow of information to maintain the edge over Discover Qatar competitors. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of job-related experience
  • Experience in Travel/Airlines/Tourism industry with minimum 5 years in tours sales
  • Proven record of hitting sales targets with exceptional win rates.
  • Experience in preparing RFP responses, sales pitches and presentations.
  • Experience in managing marketing and promotional collaterals.
