    Ensuring all hygiene & cost controlsystems are followed. Primary ResponsibilitiesPreparation of food,cooking, quality control, cutting & HACCPMaintain dailymis-en-place (MEP) and prepare ingredientsInspect & cleanfood preparation areas, ensure safe personal hygiene &sanitary food-handling practices, HACCP, labeling &FIFO/FEFO practices, hygienic handling & storage ofequipment & utensilsEnsure the highest standards andconsistent quality in the daily preparationBe familiar with newproducts, recipes & preparation techniquesHave fullknowledge of all menu items, daily highlights, and promotionsBefamiliar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment inthe kitchen and observe safety precautions when handlingthemPromptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, orequipment which requires repair or maintenance to the immediatesupervisorOther ResponsibilitiesEffective communication betweencolleagues to ensure a secure and friendly workingenvironmentEstablishing and maintaining effective workingrelationshipsConsistently offer professional, friendly, andproactive guest service while supporting fellow colleaguesActivelyshare ideas, opinions & suggestionsEfficiency inpreparations and executionAcquire culinary knowledge and skills togrow as a demi chef de partie Follow guidelines provided incolleague handbookPerform other reasonable duties assigned by themanager Qualifications ProfileKnowledge and ExperienceBasic& local necessary food hygiene certificatesCertificate inculinary, preferred Minimum of 6 to 12 months in a basic culinaryposition, preferably in a similar operations styleKnowledge ofbasic culinary techniques & personal groomingOralproficiency in the English languageCompetenciesHungry to learn andapply in operationTechnical culinary skillsCommunicateseasily/openlyReliable, consistent, honest &trustworthyPersonal hygiene and presentation, clean/tidyAbility towork effectively and contribute to a team Self-motivated andenergetic
