Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Run and expand Construction department to achieve BU goals and objectives.
- Optimize manpower plan, select and develop a team of specialist to ensure quality and timely response to any querries related to Engineering and Construction activities.
- Add new services in offshore Construction & Maintenance field.
- Find new business opportunities for offshore Construction & Maintenance.
- Develop & maintain working relationships with clients and acquire new projects.
- Increase market awareness of Milaha Offshore & Marine (HOSC) capabilities.
- Ensure Construction project / operations / work processes occur in accordance with all relevant legal, regulatory and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required.
- Assist in review of contract / tendering documentation to ensure that documentations are in line with specifications and requirements.
- Work closely with Commercial & Business Development Managmer and VP Operations to execute long term business plan & actively evaluating new business opportunities jointly with business development.
- Effectively communicate any labor related to contract requirements and ensure compliance with set standards and regulations.
- Perform operational project coordination activities ensuring the selection of the most appropriate material and services based on quality, price and delivery time.
- Participate in conducting site Engineering and Construction activities, composing work pack and procurement as required.
- Perform a variety of technical and support activities related to the preparation of contracts, agreements, Tenders and all other written documents.
- Participate in conducting inspections on construction and maintenance materials, supplies, equipment and services for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to Milaha Offshore specifications.
- Monitor field work which consist of contract work and ensuring compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes.
- Ensure the adherence to HSE standards, quality requirements and financial accountability.
- Liaise with vessels and clients for day to day operations as required.
- Coordinates the flow of information between Project, Subsea, Engineering, Commercial, Marine, Technical, Crew Manning, and Fabrication Yard.
- Participate in Operational management review
- Ensure the health and safety of all employees and the protection of the environment for all sites/work premises under their control.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification:
Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanic/Civil/Construction)
Professional Experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in Offshore projects / Construction & Maintenance activities.
Minimum 10 years' experience in a management position.

Computer Skills:
Language Skills:
Busineess Fluent in English - both written and spoken is required
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
Strong Knowledge of Construction activities
Good Knowledge of mechanical, stuctural, and SURF activities
Good knowledge of related health, safety, security and environmental regulations
Good understanding of Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001
Mandatory to possess valid Qatar driving license to attend site visit as and when required
