We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator tosource a Sr. ELV Engineer. This position is responsible forprovision of the required quality technical services. Carry-outConcept definition and engineering studies, design, scopes andpreparation of engineering documents as per approved standards /procedures.

This is a long-term contract role working on aresidential basis working on 5-days per week / 8 hours per day.

in IT/Telecommunication Engineering orequivalent qualification from an internationally recognizedUniversity with extensive design and construction experience of ELVWorks related to the Building Services Industry.

Membership in arelevant recognized professional organization.


Primary Duties andResponsibilities:
As discipline engineer responsible for provisionof the required quality technical services. Carry-out Conceptdefinition and engineering studies, design, scopes and preparationof engineering documents as per approved standards / procedures.
Verify and sign-off technical designs and bids in accordance withapproved standards. Deliver timely service to meet the projectrequirements. Advice and support in the discipline engineeringmatters in the area of expertise through all stages of projects.

Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team of engineers forproviding technical services to project executing departments,including review of execution strategies.

Support disciplinehead/lead to manage QP discipline standards. Participate intechnical assurance and standardization activities to ensurecompliance to approved discipline standards. Approve / endorsetechnical deviations / waivers/ variations to approved guidelines,codes, standards and practices. Support to ensure that allapplicable environmental and process and other safety technicalpolicies are fully implemented. Support development of competenciesand skills in his area including structured training for QatariEngineers under development
