Master's Degree or Certification/Specialization (ACCA/CPA/CMA Preferred) with 6‐8 years of relevant experience


Responsibilities:

All the responsibilities stated in the Junior Position plus the following additional responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain Chart of Accounts ‐ Analyze impact of General Ledger Maintenance Activity Requests on
the current Chart of Accounts (COA) and respective balances within other accounts.

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting ‐ Ability to analyze and develop required reports and statistics
  • Implement accounting system, procedures, and internal controls. Propose enhancements as necessary.
  • Ensure overall compliance with QMA's accounting procedures and IFRS. Aid the Head/Senior in reporting.
  • Review PRs/POs and monitor budget sheets for certain business units. Review bank payments.
1 Analyze transactions, determine accuracy, and ensure completeness and compliance to established policies

and procedures

  • Provide Ad‐Hoc assistance as and when required. Experience in insurance field is a plus.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Master's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Accounting: 8 years (preferred)

Language:


  • English Proficiency in Arabic Bilingual is a plus (preferred)
