Overview:

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is the first national applied University in the State of Qatar, offering applied Bachelors and Master's degrees in addition to certificates and diplomas in various fields.

UDST has over 50 programs in the fields of Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades, Business Management, Computing and Information Technology, Health Sciences, Continuing and Professional Education and more.

With more than 600 staff and over 7,000 students, UDST is the destination for top-notch applied and experiential learning. The University is recognized for its student-centered learning and state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities:

This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will develop, support and maintain PeopleSoft and other UDST business IT systems and to ensure maximum utilization for UDST's business Process.

The incumbent is also responsible to provide support with the maintenance of existing PeopleSoft modules, and ensure the system is able to be effectively utilized by users.


Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required


Experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT or related field


Language:

Fluency in written and spoken English language, Arabic is an asset.


Other Required Skills:


A strong commitment to meet and satisfy the needs of internal and external stakeholders and, the ability to anticipate and manage change effectively is essential.

Effective time management & organizational skills, the capacity to establish effective working relationships across all levels in the organization, and a strong commitment to working in a team environment are essential.

Effective analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
