Description
Roles and Responsibilities
-Supervise the entire contract lifecycle / process for EPCIC projects, collaborating with legal and project teams to draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts.
-Ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals while maintaining detailed records and providing regular reports to management.
-Coordinate contract execution, ensuring seamless transitions from negotiation to implementation, and monitor contract performance against agreed-upon terms.
-Facilitate periodic reviews of contracts to assess effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary amendments as per evolving project needs.
-Prepare and conduct lessons learned sharing sessions for projects(on going and completed).
-Familiar with industry standards and norms for EPCIC contract forms (FIDIC / NEC / BIMCO).
-Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts, implementing strategies to minimize legal liabilities.
-Ensure strict compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies throughout the contract lifecycle, staying updated on relevant changes.
-Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies specific to EPCIC projects, conducting comprehensive risk assessments at various project stages.
-Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and legal advisors to anticipate and address regulatory changes that could impact contract terms or project executiion
-Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors while overseeing the procurement process.
-Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms, balancing company interests with vendor expectations, and resolving disputes during contract execution collaboratively.
-Monitor vendor performance and conduct performance evaluations regularly, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
-Spearhead innovative approaches in negotiations, seeking win-win solutions that promote long-term partnerships while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
-Streamline project contractual requirements
-Perform other job-related duties are obligations with vendor/subcontractor.
Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, Engineering, or a related field
Professional Experience:
6-8 years of progressive experience in contract management, particularly within Oil & gas industry. Experience in negotiating and managing complex contracts, ideally in construction or engineering sectors
Computer and Language Skills:
MS Office and web applications.-Fluent in English -Business fluent Arabic is preferred
Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge:
Overall knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry
