Charterhouse is undertaking a search for an international executive education and research provider, who offers a range of higher education packages to its corporate and academic clients across Europe and The Middle East.

As a result of their continued growth in the region, our client is in search of a French speaking Head of Contract and Procurement to lead the department from their Doha office.


About the role

The Head of Contract and Procurement will be responsible for leading the contracting and procurement functions of the organization, ensuring that these activities are carried out in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.

This management role, will oversee the preparation and negotiation of all contracts and develop contract management strategies and processes, whilst following up on contract lifecycle.


The role will require you to identify and manage risk associated with a range of hospitality, catering, travel and tourism contracts and work closely with the legal department based in Europe for any required sign-off or queries.

Additionally, this role will provide guidance and training to employees on contract management and related issues, as well as source suppliers and conduct market research to identify new and emerging products, services and technologies with high-added value for the company.


Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will require you to manage calls for tenders/requests for proposals, RFP drafts, publication, vendor selection, terms negotiation and contract signature.


About you


The incumbent will have had exposure to working independently as part of a small team to manage contracts and procurement on a global scale.

You will hold a relevant degree from an international University and be a member of relevant professional bodies.
