Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie and Commis with expertise in French and Continental cuisine to join our culinary team.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee a specific station in the kitchen, ensuring efficient and organized food production.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan daily mise en place and coordinate with the kitchen team.
  • Prepare and cook French and Continental dishes in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure the use of fresh, highquality ingredients to maintain the authenticity of Italian flavors.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Conduct regular tastings to ensure consistency in flavors and adherence to recipes.
  • Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on best practices for hygiene and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve smooth kitchen operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
  • Assist in monitoring kitchen inventory and communicate with the Head Chef regarding ingredient needs.
  • Participate in the ordering process to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff.
  • Stay informed about new cooking techniques and trends and share knowledge with the team.
  • Contribute to the development of French and Continentalthemed menus, suggesting creative and seasonal dishes.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative elements into traditional Italian recipes.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Chef in an French and Continental cuisinefocused kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Indepth knowledge of French and Continental culinary techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a highpressure environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Creativity and passion for creating exceptional Italian dishes.

Salary:
QAR3, QAR3,500.00 per month
